Protecting business and revenue

With clear and impactful legal advisory within Intellectual Property and Commercial Contracts.

What we do

We help clients protect their business and their revenue, not only the existing but also the future ones.

It is super ambitious to protect the future, but our clients expect that we are able to do just that. Smart people and ambitious companies are focused on the present but plan for the future, and we want to be part of that plan, so we can help protect existing and future business and revenue.

The fundamental question for the most successful companies is: "why do we do it?" We are eager to understand the business that drives the need for protection.

Who we are

We are a growing team with a passion for law and tech

We rethink how specialised legal advisory is delivered.

We are not set in old conservative ways like the traditional law firms. As innovators we believe in building a better future for companies that acknowledge legal risk, and want to reduce them by integrating legal advisory and legal assurance into their day-to-day decision-making.

Our proposition combines senior legal expertise with proprietary legal tech, delivering immediate access to clear, actionable legal advisory without unnecessary friction — and without the fear of exorbitant legal costs.

Behind everything we do is a team of people who truly care. We bring ourselves to the table: open-minded, collaborative, and ready to make something great.

Legal advisory for smart people and ambitious companies.

Copycat domain? Three ways to fight back

Someone registers a domain that looks like your brand. A letter, a lawsuit or a complaint: what each route does, and why the complaint route works without a court.

Registered vs. unregistered brand

In Denmark you can own a trademark you never registered. But the right has a threshold, and nobody can find it before they pick a similar name.

You can infringe without knowing it

A trademark registration only covers the countries, goods and logo it was filed for. Four questions to check before you end up as the one infringing.

New market? Check these 5 things first

Your first order abroad is a big day. Five checks to make before the goods ship: the name, the registration, who files first, your distributor and who keeps watch.

Why are trademarks important?

Two founders with the same product. Five years later, one company is worth far more than the other. The difference is a trademark.

Your trademark has a clock

From the day your trademark is registered, a five-year clock starts. What counts as use, and the proof you should keep.

A domain name is not a trademark

A domain gives you an address, not the right to the name. What actually protects the name you sell under.

Copycat domain? Three ways to fight back

This video was made with AI-generated visuals and narration.

Someone registers a domain that looks like your brand. It may be empty. It may already send emails in your name.

You have three ways to fight back: a letter, a lawsuit or a complaint.

A letter

A warning letter is quick and cheap to send, and sometimes it is enough. But the owner of the domain can simply ignore it.

A lawsuit

A court can stop the use. But a lawsuit is slow and costly, especially for a growing company.

A complaint

The third route is a complaint to a domain dispute body. It runs outside the courts, and it can end with the domain being transferred to you.

For .com and the other generic endings, complaints follow an international procedure called the UDRP. WIPO is the best-known body that handles these cases.

For .dk domains, the Danish Complaints Board for Domain Names decides. It can decide that a domain is kept, deleted, suspended or transferred to the complainant.

Why no court is needed

Everyone who registers a .com has agreed to the complaint procedure. It is part of the registration contract, so the domain owner has to take part.

For .dk, the board works under the Danish act on internet domains, and Punktum dk, which runs .dk, carries out its decisions.

What a complaint cannot do

Neither WIPO nor the Danish board can award damages or legal costs. And both sides can still take the dispute to court afterwards.

Three questions for your own brand

Which domains that look like your brand exist today?

Does any of them send emails or show a shop?

Is your name registered as a trademark where you sell?
